The instore release of Nike Air Foamposite Galaxy

I don't think anyone expected any riots over the Nike Air Foamposite Galaxy in Stockholm. And considering the fact that it is still just over freezing here at night, we did not really expect anyone would show up the day before the release, with camping gear and ready to hang out for 22 hours. But Mr. first-in-line Daniel did. Anthony flew in from Germany to line up for the Foams, and all of a sudden there was a bunch of people sleeping outside of Sneakersnstuff the night between the 15th and the 16th of March.

No matter what you think about the Nike Air Foamposite Galaxy - That is dedication and we have to lift our hat of for that. And, since the group of people were nice enough to guard our store over the night we of course had to serve them breakfast in the morning.

Sneakersnstuff x Milkcrate Athletics x New Balance - A first look.

Sneakersnstuff is very pleased to inform you that we've teamed up with New Balance once again. This is our fifth round with New Balance and this time we have brought our long time friend Aaron LaCrate and his legendary brand Milkcrate Athletics to the party.

Footwear of choice is the iconic New Balance 577. As you all know the 577 is a quality runner that we've worked on several times before and it has never failed us. It's extremely comfortable and hand made in the famous New Balance factory in Flimby, England.

Updated information regarding the Nike Foamposite Galaxy release

The madness continues.

We regret to inform you that Nike has pushed the release of the Nike Galaxy Foamposite, as well as the Nike Galaxy Flight One, this due to a delay of the delivery to their warehouse. On a more informal note - crap... the shoes are stuck on a boat. And there is nothing we can do about it, but to hope that the boat will not get hijacked on it's way to the Nike warehouse.
This is not just concerning Sneakersnstuff, but all the European doors that has placed their orders in time.

As we now have been let down more than once, we have decided not to try to give you a confirmed date until we actually have the shoes in stock. But, we will give you these new dates to keep track of:

As you know, the interest in these shoes are way above normal. So in order to be fair to all, we have decided not to release them online before we know what type of crowd will turn up for the instore release. We will post updated information as soon as we have that from Nike.

Again, we are very sorry about this. But it is really way out of our control.

Nike Air Foamposite Galaxy and Nike Flight One

Few shoes has caused more hysteria lately than this one. We saw some of this type of commotion in December when Jordan Brand retroed the Air Jordan 11 concords. By the time of the release, we had about 18.000 people online all trying to get the same shoe before our server crashed. Our servers are pretty good, but to hold for 18.000 people all loading and refreshing the same page was just not doable.

The Galaxy pack was intended for the NBA All Star game that takes place in Orlando this weekend. Orlando being close to the Kennedy Space Center is one connection. Anfernee 'Penny' Hardaway is another. With the classic no 1 on his back, he was given the signature shoe Nike Air Flight One back in the mid 90's. He was also the player to get the groundbreaking "one-piece-molded" Nike Air Foamposite One in 1997. So to re-release those shoes and trying to create some hype (and that was some hype) for the All Star Weekend makes perfect sense.

But for some reason, most likely due to delays, Nike Europe has pushed the release of the Nike Air Foamposite Galaxy, and the two colorways of the Nike Air Flight One until next Friday the 2nd of March.

Since our servers could not stand the 18.000 hunting for the Concords, we will not release the Nike Air Foamposite Galaxy online. We will post pictures and show you the shoes as soon as we get the delivery (some day next week). But they will not be available to purchase online. We realize that this will disappoint a few of you, but trying to serve the demand with those limited pairs we will get is impossible. After all, judging from the crowd in Orlando last night, there should be a line outside Sneakersnstuff in Stockholm next Friday.

We will release the two colorways of Nike Air Flight One online 1 hour after the instore release on Friday the 2nd of March.

Sneakersnstuff x Reebok Workout 25th Anniversary

All Gone book release at Sneakersnstuff

Thanks to everyone that came by the store this Saturday for the release of the All Gone 2011 book. We hope that everyone that wanted a copy of the book got one.

Nike Air Force 1 - Year of the Dragon

Nike Air Force 1 celebrate 30 years this year.
Expect to see some serious heat from Nike as they will celebrate their legendary money maker in style.
First out is the Nike Air Force 1 Supreme Low Year of the Dragon.

The Chinese New Year starts January 23rd.
Rumor has it that the release of the shoes in question will be January 28th.

One thing is for sure though: Sneakersnstuff will stock these beautiful sneakers.

And we know that there are a few really good releases for the US market coming up, as the Air Jordan X "Chicago", Spiz'ike in a few good colorways and so on. Unfortunatelly we cannot get those shoes since Nike Europe has decided not to release them.
