Release info: Hanon x adidas CNTR

This Saturday, February 2nd, is the day for the release of the Hanon x adidas CNTR. This time Hanon found their inspiration from their hometown of Aberdeen, also called The Granite City. Great looking shoe from Hanon and adidas Consortium! The in store release is set to 11.00 CET at Sneakersnstuff Stockholm and online one hour later, 12.00 CET at Sneakersnstuff.com.

Of course will the rest of the CNTR Pack also be released this Saturday. Same time as the Hanon x adidas CNTR!

Sneakersnstuff x Reebok Classic Leather

This year Reebok's classic silhouette the Classic Leather celebrates its 30th birthday. To celebrate this Reebok invited their global Certified Network to design their own version of the model and first out is Sneakersnstuff.

For this project we wanted to design a shoe that would work during the cold Swedish winter as it is released in January. Instead of a leather upper we went for a upper made of Cordura fabric that we mixed up with suede details. We added PlayDry and Thinsulate insulation to the shoe to keep the heat and dryness. As a twist we changed the colors of one of the Union Jacks to the Swedish colors. Simply a wearable pair of sneakers!

The Sneakersnstuff x Reebok Classic Leather will be released at all Sneakersnstuff stores January 26th. It will be released online the same day at 14.00 CET.

Nike Air Max - Air Reinvented display

Sneakersnstuff in collaboration with interactive designer Mapletone (together with Spekel HB) and Nike have reinvented the sneaker display. Just as Nike has reinvented the Air Max family, Sneakersnstuff and Mapletone wanted to show a sneaker in a new way and so created a solution.

Using a customized technique, the installation enables visitors to be able to control a seemingly levitating Air Max 1 Engineered Mesh in three-dimensional space.

Simon Morris (Mapletone) is an interactive designer and new media artist from New York currently living in Sweden. Having his roots in skateboard culture his work explores sound, and new interfaces for musical expression. His past projects include Musique Concrete, an interactive musical skateboard performance and Invitation au Voyage, a levitating magnetic skateboard.
