Slam Jam x Asics Gel-Lyte III
The Slam Jam x ASICS Gel-Lyte III drops this Saturday at Sneakersnstuff. 12.00 CET in store (Stockholm) and 16.00 CET online for our Swedish customers. If we have any pairs left after the weekend they will be released during the day January 28th.
Sneakersnstuff x ASICS GT-II - The global release
Attention sneaker lovers!
Tomorrow, October 27th was supposed to be the world wide release date for our GT-II collaboration with ASICS that was released October 20th at Sneakersnstuff.
Two weeks ago when we received the shoes from ASICS we opened a box and saw that the white chess piece on the left shoe was blue. We looked through all the pairs and we took away all the "wrong" pairs. Left was 158 pairs that we sold for the release.
Due to this problem we have chosen to take all the pairs back that was supposed to be sold at other stores tomorrow. Because we don't want people to get a pair that is not correct.
We hope everyone understand this and congratulations to everyone that got a pair. This release is now officially mad limited…

Recap: Sneakersnstuff x ASICS GT-II release party
The night before the release of the Sneakersnstuff x ASICS GT-II we had a very special party for the shoes at a secret location in Stockholm. Very few people were invited and we all had a good time with some drinks, music by Sailor & I and a crazy location! Thanks to everyone that came by and a special thanks to Ibeyostudio for making it happen...
The Sneakersnstuff x ASICS GT-II were released the morning after and we sold out in an hour. Actually our servers crashed cause it was too many that tried to get a pair on the website. We're sorry about that. This is something we're trying to work on for every big release we have online. Of course we wish that all of you that didn't get a pair could get one but this is unfortunately not possible...
Thanks everyone for the support. We hope you enjoy the shoes as much as we do. We love you guys!
Sneakersnstuff x ASICS GT-II
Once again Sneakersnstuff teamed up with ASICS to work on a collaboration project. For this round Sneakersnstuff chose to work on their favorite ASICS silhouette - the GT-II. It is the same model that Sneakersnstuff worked on for their first project with ASICS back in 2011, when they released a runestone version of the shoe.
The inspiration for the design comes from the classic Swedish movie “The Seventh Seal”. A film that was written and directed by the legendary Ingmar Bergman. The story of the movie takes place during the Black Death in Sweden and you follow the journey of a medieval knight and his game of chess with Death regarding his life.
This version of the ASICS GT-II is made in heavy black nubuck with black and white details. On the heel and sock liner you have the chess pieces from the game and of course it comes with a checkered lining. The stripes on the lateral side of the shoe are black with a 3M base and on the medial side the stripes are white with a 3M base as well.
The Sneakersnstuff x ASICS GT-II will be released at Sneakersnstuff in Stockholm and Malmö October 20th and online at Sneakersnstuff.com. The global release is set to October 27th 2012 at selected ASICS accounts worldwide.
